On 1 April 2022 in Sofia, the Bulgarian Cycling Federation presented the awards for Cyclist of the Year for 2020 and 2021.
Riders, coaches, sponsors and friends of Bulgarian cycling gathered for the presentation of the annual awards for the best cyclists in Bulgaria in the different cycling disciplines – mountain, track and road cycling.
The pandemic did not allow the organization of this event in the last 2 years, but fortunately the ceremony on Friday honored with prizes all deserving for the past two racing seasons.
Cups or certificates were given to all riders who took the first places in the various disciplines and categories in the BFC rankings for the 2020 and 2021 season. In addition to the awards to the competitors, the certificates of the successful graduates of specialized courses at the International
Cycling Union (UCI) for judges and cycling coaches, which BFC organized with the assistance of its partners – the International and European Cycling Unions (UEC).
